The longest coldest night on earth

The darkest time of year at the North Pole is the Winter Solstice, approximately December 21. There has been no sunlight or even twilight since early October. What are treatment for different types of burns?

A mild burn, run under cold tap water for 10 minutes, (do not use ice). A first degree burn, leave alone 24 hours, do not cover and avoid any product application. A second degree burn, apply antibiotic ointment and cover with sterile dressing. If blisters break open clean with tap water. A third degree burn, needs immediate medical attention. Have person lie down, and cover burn with clean sheet, until medical professional arrives.

How many different kinds of rice are there?

There are thousands of different varieties of rice (Oryza sativa). At the International Rice Research Institute Genetic Resources Center in the Philippines, there are 80,000 rice samples in cold storage.
